At ShimlaPsychaiatric Hospital, our Mental Health Program is designed to meet the needs of those with primary mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, and other conditions.
We take a comprehensive approach to mental, emotional, and psychological wellness. Our team of doctors is available around the clock to provide counseling, psychopharmacology education, and medication management. Patients in our care receive five mental health groups a week, daily check-ins with therapists and doctors, and neurotherapy sessions that encourage positive results and personal development.
Our personalized mental health services include Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, mental health education, as well as supportive group therapy and practical coping skills. By blending a combination of clinical resources like behavioral therapy with holistic options like massage and acupuncture, we create treatment plans that serve every patient’s therapeutic needs.
The front office staff at the reception will assist you during the admission process. They will generate a Unique Identification Number (UID) for the patient and all the medical records will be maintained and stored by the hospital for all future reference. They will also draw out an estimate and guide you for selecting the relevant category of room.
In addition, you will be required to make an advance payment. The advance shall be adjusted against the final bill at the time of discharge. Those seeking the cashless route would have to visit the insurance desk / TPA desk for the hospitalization of the patient. The staff will escort the patient to the allotted room/bed and make you feel comfortable.
In view of the ominous rise in drug dependency, we are committed to the cause of treating patients struggling with addiction. Addiction is riddled with a lot of stigmas. It is still considered to be a lapse in character instead of being treated as mental health issue as it should. Hence, we ensure the creation of safe spaces for patients. We aim at erasing the notion that addiction is untreatable.
